It is funny how we have normalized introducing ourselves before society using our career as if it embodied everything we are. As humans, the potential we have goes beyond our own knowledge, and that, tied to the traits that both define and shape us as unique beings, allows us to explore other facets backed by the confines of our imagination.

1999 was the year Juan Pablo Montoya made his appearance to the Colombian audience when he jumped into the elite of the American Open Wheel series back in time: CART. As a born raised Colombian, the only thing I was paying attention to, was Soccer. JPM debuting in Homestead changed that forever.
